Green Valley Baptist Church started in 1986 by Pastor Hoover Heflin. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary in April with a grand celebration. The church building was purchased from the Methodists and was almost totally re - done inside and out. The actual foundation and timbers in the attic date back to the mid 1800's.
People have been helped, encouraged and pointed to Christ for over 30 years now. Lord willing we will continue on into the future with our Saviors mission of Luke 19:10.
The church is embarking on acquiring running water in the building for the first time in its history. We are all very excited about the prospects of this! Hopefully this will come together and be installed in the summer of 2016.
